IonQ recently participated in AWS re:Invent. At the event, it was announced that Amazon Braket, the quantum computing service from AWS, has launched a new program, Braket Direct.
IonQ Forte has now expanded commercial and public availability via Amazon Braket’s new Braket Direct program. The newly launched Braket Direct program expands customer access to the most cutting-edge, innovative quantum systems available on Amazon Braket with no upfront fees or subscriptions.
Braket Direct will be enabled through programmatic reservations on IonQ hardware. This reservation model will dramatically improve Braket customers’ experience running hybrid workloads using Braket’s hybrid jobs feature set.
Complementing existing on-demand access, Braket Direct enables customers to reserve dedicated capacity on different quantum devices of their choice at the convenience of their own schedule, connect with quantum computing experts for hands-on support and engage in deeper collaborations with IonQ application development experts, and try out next-gen quantum computers, while only paying for the duration of their reservation.
IonQ Forte is the latest IonQ system to join Amazon Braket, following IonQ Harmony and IonQ Aria, which are now available via Braket Direct reservations.
Forte Access on Braket Direct will be bundled with support from IonQ Applications Team, ensuring that customers are successful with their use of this cutting-edge system. This support includes:
Circuit optimization for trapped ion architectures
Developing baseline problem sets and proof of concepts
Application development and co-development
Application delivery
New problem identification and application roadmaps
